About the Artist…

Ashleigh Bowman is originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania. She earned her BFA at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania (now PennWest Edinboro) in 2021. She studied Studio Arts with a dual concentration in Illustration and Printmaking, and a minor in Sculpture.

Inspiration for her artwork comes from her fascination and appreciation for nature, as well as enlightening viewers on various environmental issues. She illustrates this information through drawings, paintings, or screen prints. Her artwork contributes to her aspirations of being a full-time illustrator and urge to make a positive impact on the environment.

Outside of her work, she enjoys various creative hobbies including crocheting and playing instruments (guitar, ukulele, and piano).
